Quick Install Guide
NO Session Control™ for Stream Deck PlusGet NO Session Control™ installed and running on your Stream Deck Plus in just 3 steps. This guide covers a fresh setup from start to finish — hardware plugged in to profile loaded.
What You'll Do
Plug in your Stream Deck Plus to your computer using the included USB-C to USB-A cable. Windows will detect the device automatically — no additional drivers are needed.
Step 1 — Install the Elgato Stream Deck App
On your Windows computer, click the Start Menu or press the Windows key on your keyboard and type "Microsoft Store".
Look for the Microsoft Store icon:
Click to open the Microsoft Store.
Once the Microsoft Store is open, use the search bar at the top to search for "Elgato Stream Deck".
Look for the app with this icon:
Click Install to download and install the app. It is free.
After installation, the Stream Deck app will appear in your system tray (bottom-right of your taskbar). It runs in the background and starts automatically with Windows.
Step 2 — Install the NO Session Control Plugin
After purchasing NO Session Control™ from the Elgato Marketplace, navigate to your Downloads folder. You will see a zip file named com.fortimind.no3-ctrl.sdPlugin.
Do NOT extract or unzip the folder. You need to open it while it is still zipped to find the plugin file inside.
Open the zipped folder by double-clicking it. Inside, you will find a file named com.fortimind.no3-ctrl with the file type "Stream Deck Plugin".
With the Elgato Stream Deck app already open, double-click this com.fortimind.no3-ctrl file. The Stream Deck app will ask for confirmation — click Install.
After a few seconds, a popup will confirm the installation was successful. You will also see NO Session Control 
appear in the action panel on the right side of the Stream Deck app.
To confirm the plugin installed correctly, click the gear icon (Settings) in the Stream Deck app and select the Plugins tab. You should see NO Session Control listed.
Step 3 — Install the Profile
Navigate back to your Downloads folder (outside of the zip file). You will see a file named "NO Session Control" with the file type "Stream Deck Profile".
With the Stream Deck app still open, double-click the profile file. The app will ask for confirmation — click Install.
The profile loads immediately. All 8 keys and 4 dials on your Stream Deck Plus will be pre-configured with the full NO Session Control layout — no manual setup required.
The profile file pre-assigns all 14 NO Session Control actions to the correct positions on your Stream Deck Plus. Without it, you would need to drag each action into place manually. Think of it as a one-click setup.
